Unfortunately, the homelessness situation in Central Florida has been on the rise in recent years, and a significant contributor to this trend has been the increase in rent prices.
Recently Alex and Alex, the owners of AMP PEDIATRIC THERAPY, were given an official tour of Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida by Angel Greene, the Director Of Operation Administration. She mentioned that the high rent cost makes it increasingly difficult for low-income families to find stable housing. This is particularly true for those with children with disabilities, as they often require additional support and resources that can be difficult to come by in times of financial strain. The compounding impact of homelessness on these children can be severe, leading to disruptions in therapy and educational services and increased risks for physical and mental health problems.
